• Mastery of basic data visualization and Tableau skills including: 
• Why we visualize data and the importance of preattentive attributes.
• Building Tableau data models, including combining data via relationships, joins, and unions and restructuring data using pivots.
• The different types of data connectors.
• The differences between dimensions and measures.
• The differences between discrete and continues pills.
• How and when to use different types of filters.
• The options available on the marks card and how and when to use them.
• Formatting sheets and dashboards.
• Working with dates.
• Building common chart types (bar, line, area, maps, scatterplots).
• Building charts using measure names/measure values and dual axes.
• Creating intuitive, insightful, and actionable dashboards.
• Enabling interactivity using filter, highlight, and URL actions.
• Design principles and the data-to-ink ratio.
• Using color in a meaningful and appropriate manner.
• Creating basic calculated fields, including logical and Boolean statements.
• The basics of the Order of Operations.
• The basics of publishing workbooks & data sources to Tableau Cloud/Server.
