Prerequisites:  Mastery of basic Tableau and data visualization skills, including:

• Understanding why we visualize data and preattentive attributes
• Building data models, using relationships, joins, unions, and pivots
• Familiarity with data connectors, dimensions, measures, discrete/continuous pills, and filters
• Effective use of the marks card, formatting sheets/dashboards, and working with dates
• Ability to build common charts (bar, line, area, maps, scatterplots), dual axes, and intuitive dashboards
• Enabling interactivity through filter, highlight, and URL actions
• Applying design principles, data-to-ink ratio, and meaningful color use
• Creating basic calculated fields (logical/Boolean statements)
• Understanding the Order of Operations and publishing to Tableau Cloud/Server
• Intellectual curiosity
